Hongkong-based, Elephone has listed a new smartphone, dubbed as P3000, on the company’s official website. It is available for purchase through to talk with a price of €115.19 (about Rs. 8,900 or 141 USD).
The Elephone P3000 is a 4G LTE phone that features a big 5-inch JDI HD OGS display with 1280*720 pixels of resolution and 293 PPI. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek MT6582 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and coupled with a Mali-400 MP4 GPU that runs Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box.
The P3000 supports dual-SIM (micro+normal) with dual standby functionality and has 1GB RAM. It also comes with 8 GB of built-in internal storage that is further expandable with up to 64GB of microSD card. The phone houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The primary camera features Auto-Focus and LED Flash.
The Elephone P3000 sports a 3150 mAh Li-pol battery rated for up to 4 hrs of talk-time and up to 180 hrs of standby life. Connectivity options include FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, Mobile hotspot, USB OTG, 3G, GPS, A-GPS, Fingerprint, and FOTA.
The P3000 measures 145*72*8.9mm dimensions and weighs 146 gms. It has proximity, ambient light, accelerometer, and compass sensors.
