LG Egold Unlocker is a free tool from the fr3nsis team. To start unlocking, you need to come cable (FTDI, box, TTL converter, etc.). One should note that you can’t unlock the phone with a USB cable.
When the program shows a phone unlock code, you need to follow those steps.
- Remove the SIM card and battery, re-insert the battery, and power it up without the SIM card.
- Enter *#9999# to boot it up, then type 2945#*20001# on the screen
- Go to the Menu->Settings->Security->SIM Lock Code->Network Unlock Code
- Enter the code as you have generated.
