Datawind – the manufacturer of Akash Tablet, has listed UbiSlate 7Cz Tablet with a tag price of Rs 6999; however, you can get it in India from Flipkart online retailer for only Rs 6499. The company says that it would offer 12 months of free unlimited Internet browsing with the purchase of its UbiSlate 7Cz and UbiSlate 3G7 tablet PCs in partnership with BSNL.
The upgraded model of UbiSlate 7Cz Tablet, the UbiSlate 3G7 sports a 7 inch TFT LCD Capacitive Touchscreen with 1024 x 600 pixels and 16 M Colors. The tab is 5 point touch featured.
It boasts a 1.2 GHz MTK8312 Dual Core A7 processor coupled with 1 GB DDR3 RAM and Mali-400MP GPU. It comes with a 4 GB ROM that can be further enlarged with a 32 GB of external microSD card. It supports a 3G mini-SIM.
The voice calling DataWind tab supports 2G: GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900, and 3G: UMTS 2100 operating frequency bands. It also runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS out-of-the-box.
The UbiSlate 7Cz tab comes with P-Sensor, G-Sensor, and Accelerometer sensor. It houses a 2 MP rear camera and also has a 0.3 MegaPixel frontal camera onboard.
It comes with Kingsoft Office suite preinstalled. There is a 2600 mAh Lithium Polymer battery fitted in this tablet, rated to provide 3hrs talk-time.
