Cubot – the smartphone and tablet brand of China, has launched its latest flagship smartphone, calls it Cubot X15. The handset comes with a $212.02, but gearbest – the online retailer-offers the handset for $165.99; while using the coupon code X15GB, you can get an additional discount of $16, and you have to pay only $149.99. The retailer will start shipping the handset from 15 Aug.
The bezel-less new Cubot X15 runs the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by an MTK6735 64bit Quad-Core processor that is clocked at 1.3GHz of speed. The smartphone comes with a bigger 5.5 inch 2.5D Full HD IPS OGS screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
Under the hood, the Mali-T720 graphics unit is fitted along with 2GB of RAM. The Cubot X15 also comes with a huge 16 GB internal storage that is further expandable with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards. Under 15.3 x 7.3 x 0.69 cm / 6.01 x 2.87 x 0.27 inches dimensions, the handset packs a 2750mAh Li-pol battery, and the whole weight of the device is 0.150 kg.
The X15 houses a 16-megapixels rear camera that features a DW9714 graphic sensor, 5P lens, and f/1.8 aperture. There is also a secondary 8 MP front shooter that features an f/2.0 aperture. In terms of connectivity options, the phone includes 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, HotKnot, USB OTG, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/AGPS, WiFi, hotspot, and dual-SIM (micro + nano) with dual-standby.
The handset supports gravity, ambient light, gesture, and proximity sensors. It has 2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz, 3G: WCDMA 900/1900/2100MHz, and 4G: LTE 800/1800/2100/2600MHz operating frequency bands.
