Croma Indian Retailer with partnership of Intel has launched a Windows 8.1 powered tablet. Croma 1179 will be available in India with a tag price Rs 13,990. The tablets will be available through Croma’s retail stores as well as official website. Croma executives also informed that the company will sell the tablet through another online partner, in the near future.

Chroma Tablet Lauch Event

The Croma 1179 slate runs on Windows 8.1 OS out-of-the-box, and it is powered by quad-core Intel Atom Z3735D ‘Bay Trail-T’ processor, which is clocked at 1.33GHz of speed, and coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The Croma 1179 tablet features an 8-inch (1280×800 pixels) touchscreen display with 160ppi pixel density.

The Croma 1179 houses a 2-megapixel rear camera without flash, while it also firms 2-megapixel frontal camera for video chatting. It comes with 32GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded with the help of a microSD card.

This Croma tablet built with 5000mAh lithium polymer battery. It has a single 2G SIM slot, internet can also be accessed with the help of WiFi or external 3G dongle.

Along with Wi-FI; Bluetooth and Micro-USD are additional connectivity options in Croma 1179 tablet. It has Proximity and Accelerometer sensors.
