Coolpad Dazen 1 was launched in India last month for Rs. 6,999. It went on sale exclusively via Snapdeal in the first flash sale on June 9th at the same price. But, now the company has reduced the price of the smartphone to Rs. 5,999 in today’s flash sale to take on Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Yu Yuphoria.

According to the company 10,000 units were sold out in less than a minute in the first flash sale. Till now, Coolpad Dazen has sold 5 million handsets worldwide. To compensate users those who got the smartphone at the original price last week, the company is offering Snapdeal credits.

In terms of specs, the Coolpad Dazen 1 comes with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display, 1.2GHz Quad-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and runs Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS with Cool UI 6. It is also equipped with an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The device comes with 2GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage with expansion slot and also a 2500mAh battery. It has 4G LTE support, including 4G LTE bands (TDD B40 2300MHz and FDD B3 1800MHz) for India.
