Cloudfone, a Local brand of the Philippines, has unveiled a new octa-core smartphone for only Php 4,999, the Excite 501o.
The Cloudfone Excite 501o runs Android 4.4 Kit Kat OS and is powered by a Mediatek’s MT6592 1.7 GHz Octa-Core processor, alongside 1GB of RAM, and Mali-450 MP4 GPU. It also comes with 8GB of internal storage that is further expandable with up to 64 GB of memory cards.
The Excite 501o features a 5-inch IPS qHD (960 × 540 pixels) touchscreen display and supports dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality. The phone houses an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with flash and boasts a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and selfie.
A 2,250mAh Li-ion battery backs the Excite 501o. The connectivity options include M Radio, WiFi 802.11 b / g / n, Miracast Wireless Display, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG, micro-USB v2.0, Mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, 3G, and 3.5mm audio jack.
Recently CloudFone has launched Ice 402e in the Philippines for Php 1,699. It comes with 1GHz single-core processor, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) with dual standby, and a 4-inch WVGA display.
