Google has announced Android One smartphone officially in Philippines with the partnership of Cherry Mobile. The new device will be called Cherry Mobile One and will be available throughout the country for Php 3999 only.
The Cherry Mobile One is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and coupled with 1GB of RAM. It sports a 4.5-inch TFT (480×854 pixels) capacitive display with Asahi Glass technology. It is equipped with 8GB of internal storage, and expandable via microSD up to 32GB.
The Cherry Mobile One houses a 5-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and also packs a 2-megapixel front camera for selfie and video calling. It supports dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality. It is backed by a 1780mAh battery. It supports proximity, accelerometer and ambient light sensors.
Running on Android 5.1 Lollipop, the Cherry Mobile One will have connectivity options 3G HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm ear-jack. Recently, Google has partner-shipped in Bangladesh and launched Symphony Roar A50 and Nexian Journey One.
