Cherry Mobile – A local Smartphone manufacturer of the Philippines, has listed another smartphone officially, called Omega Spectrum, listed with a tag price of PHP 4,999 (Approx Rs 7000 Indian Currency or 115 USD).
According to the company, the Cherry Mobile Omega Spectrum sports a 5″ HD screen display with Broadcom’s Videocore IV Technology for an optimized high definition experience. The display also features Dragon trail glass (720 x 1,280 pixels resolution).
The Omega Spectrum is powered by a Quad-Core Processor, clocked at 1.2GHz of speed with the Broadcom 23550 chipset, and coupled with 1 GB of RAM, alongside VideoCore IV GPU.
The device features 4 GB internal storage, can be upgraded with up to 32 GB of an external MicroSD card.
The smartphone houses an 8 MP rear primary camera with flash and a 2-megapixel front camera handy for video calls and self-portraits.
Miracast and dual SIM with dual standby features phone (850 900 1800 1900 2100 frequency bands supported) has Wi-Fi, GPS, GPRS, EDGE, WAP, FM radio, MMS, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Glonass navigation and USB Port as connectivity options.
Like Cherry Mobile Cosmos Z2 cellphone, the Omega Spectrum also runs on out-dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Operating System out-of-the-box; however, Android 4.4 KitKat is available, which will be explained in the next article.
The handset boasts a 1700 mAh battery.
