Cherry Mobile has launched a new tablet in the Philippines, called Alpha Play, and will be available in the market for PHP 7999.
The new Cherry Mobile Alpha Play sports an 8-inch HD (720 x 1280 Pixels) IPS screen and is powered by a 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735D processor, coupled with Intel HD Graphics – Gen 7 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card. The company is also offering 1TB of cloud storage free on OneDrive.
The Cherry Mobile Alpha Play also comes with free Office 365. It houses a 5MP rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls via Skype. A 3500mAB battery backs it. The tab is running on the latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS out of the box.
In terms of connectivity features, it includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB, and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
