Celkon has launched a new budget Campus-series smartphone in India, the Campus A518, priced at Rs 4,500.
According to the company, the Celkon Campus A518 smartphone will be available in India across retail stores; however, there is no word on whether the smartphone will also be available online. The dual-SIM Campus A518 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box, featuring a 5-inch (480 x 854 pixels resolution) FWVGA IPS display.
The Celkon Campus A518 is powered by a 1GHz single-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It is equipped with 4GB of inbuilt storage, further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It houses a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while a secondary, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera is also on board.
The Celkon Campus A518 includes 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth in terms of connectivity options. A 2000mAh battery also backs it. The phone measures 145 x 73 x 9.75 mm, and weight is 164 grams. The handset will be available in White and Dark Blue colors.
