Celkon has launched a new smartphone, dubbed as A407. It runs old Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and comes in deep blue, golden, silver, and white variant colors. It can be purchased through homeshop18 with a price of Rs 2,599.
The Celkon A407 features a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels resolution) display and supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) with dual standby functionality. It has a lack of 3G connectivity and also runs the out-dated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The smartphone is powered by an RDA 8810P chipset coupled with a 1 GHz Single Core processor.
The Celkon A407 is equipped with 256MB of RAM, and the 512MB built-in storage is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It has a Vivante GC860 graphics card, features proximity, light, and G-Sensor. It houses a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash, while there is a 1.3MP front-facing camera.
The A407 includes GPRS/EDGE, dual-SIM, 2G, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, FM Radio, and A-GPS in terms of connectivity options. It is backed by a moderate 1400 mAh Li-ion battery rated for up to 4 hrs of talk-time and 110 hrs of standby. The smartphone measure 124.8 x 65.2 x 9.2 mm and weighs 105 gm.
