Vodafone has launched a new Cat.9 Mobile Wi-Fi router, dubbed as R230. It is re-branded from ZTE MF980. The device measures 122 x 65 x 10.6mm and weighs 105gms. It is built with Qualcomm MDM 9240 chipset, 256 MB RAM, and 512MB ROM.

On Cat.9 LTE network, the Vodafone R230 can provide download speed up to 450 Mbps. It is backward compatible to LTE Cat.4 (DL 150 Mbps), HSDPA (DL 42.2 Mbps) and EDGE/GPRS Class 12. It can provide upload speed up to 50Mbps (LTE FDD), 5.76 Mbps (HSUPA) and EDGE/GPRS Class 12.

The R230 comes with 2200mAh polymer battery that can provide up to 10 hrs of internet usage on its WiFi and 350 hrs of standby. It also features 1,44” LCD screen to monitor the battery, WiFi, carrier, network, SMS, etc. LTE 800/1400/1800/2100/2600, UMTS 850/900/1900/2100 and GSM 850/900/1800/1900 operating frequency bands are supported.

Based on Linux platform, the R230 features dual-band WiFi 802.11b/g/n/ac 2.4GHz,5 GHz and micro USB 3.0. It can connect up to 8 WiFi-enabled devices simultaneously.

Vodafone Connect Ultra 6Z (Vodafone R226-z) : Features, Specs, Reviews

A new mobile hotspot router has been listed by the company, dubbed as Vodafone Connect Ultra 6Z. It is basically ZTE R226-z, but renamed as Vodafone Connect Ultra 6Z.

The device comes in only black color, measures 109 x 65 x 14mm and weighs 102gms. It is built with Qualcomm MDM 9230 chipset. 512 MB flash memory and 256 MB RAM is also available for better performance.

LTE FDD 50Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps and EDGE/GPRS Class 12 upload are supported. It is Cat.6 LTE router and can provide download speed up to 300Mbps. On Cat.4 LTE network, it has 150Mbps download speed, whereas 42.2 Mbps on HSDPA. There is a 2300mAh Li-pol battery inside the router that can provide up to 8 hrs of the internet on WiFi and up to 300 hrs standby is possible.

The Vodafone Connect Ultra 6Z comes with 1.4” LCD which shows the status of WiFi, network, battery, operator, and SMS. LTE 3/5/7/8/20, UMTS 850/900/1900/2100 and GSM 850/900/1800/1900 operating frequency bands are supported. It also features dual-band WiFi 802.11b/g/n/ac 2.4GHz, 5 GHz and USB 2.0. It can connect up to 8 WiFi-enabled devices simultaneously.

As said earlier, Vodafone has launched two Mobile Wi-Fi routers, the R218 (R218z) and R218H. The R218 (R218z) is ZTE make router; whereas R218H is a Huawei re-branded.

The Vodafone R218h measures 92 x 58 x 12.8mm and weighs <95g. It comes in only while color. There is three status LED available to indicate the WiFi, SMS, and battery status. It also operates on Linux platform, whereas HiSilicon Balong 711 is fitted inside the device. It has only 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM.

It is a low-cost router, which comes with 1500 mAh Li-pol battery. It a Cat.4 LTE router that can provide download speed up to 150Mbps and upload speed limit is 50Mbps. It is also backward compatible to UMTS (DL 42.2Mbps and UL 5.76 Mbps) and EDGE (DL 296 / UL 177).

The R218H can operate up to 6 hrs on 4G and provides up to 300 hrs standby on the 3G/4G network. LTE B1/B3/B7/B8/B20, UMTS B1/B8 and GSM 850/900/1800/1900 operating frequency bands are supported by this modem. It also supports WiFi and can connect up to 5 WiFi-enabled devices simultaneously.

Vodafone has launched two Mobile Wi-Fi routers, the R218 (R218z) and R218H. If you find R218 (R218z) written over the device, means it is a ZTE make router; whereas R218H is a Huawei make.

In this post, we will discuss about Vodafone Mobile Wi-Fi R218, which is a ZTE make and can be unlocked easily.

The R218 is modified version of ZTE MF920 router. It measures 105 x 64 x 14mm and weighs 102 gms. It comes in White color only. There is an LED screen available for notification of battery, signal, WiFi, etc. The device operates on Linux platform whereas Qualcomm MDM 9207 is fitted inside the device for better performance.

Vodafone R218 MiFi router features 256MB RAM and 512MB flash memory. Its upload speed is LTE FDD 50Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps and EDGE/GPRS Class 12; whereas LTE Cat.4 150 Mbps, HSDPA 42.2 Mbps and EDGE/GPRS Class 12 download speed are supported.

This router features 2300mAh Li-pol battery that can operate 10 hours on WiFi and 300 hours standby. LTE DD800/900/1800/2600, UMTS 850/900/1900/2100 and GSM 850/900/1800/1900 operating frequency bands are supported. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n 2.4 GHz and can connect up to 5 WiFi-enabled devices at a time.

Recently, we have discussed about Vodafone R227h router, which features Cat.6 LTE. Its download speed is up to 300Mbps. In this post, we will discuss about Vodafone R216h mobile WiFi router. It is Cat.4 LTE router which comes in Black and white colors.

The Vodafone R216h measures 92 x 58 x 12.8mm and weighs <95 gms. It also comes with a LED status screen to view the battery, SMS and WiFi status. The modem operates on Linux platform and is backed by HiSilicon Balong 711 chipset. It has 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM.

Vodafone has recently launched a new Mobile Wi-Fi router, calls it R227h. It is Huawei make and features Cat-6 LTE. Apart from the Cat-6 LTE, the device is backward compatible with UMTS (3G) & GPRS (2G) bands.

According to the Vodafone official website, the R227h measures 125.6 x 70.5 x 13.8mm and weight is approx 150gms. The device comes in only beautiful Black color. There is an LCD (1.45) to watch the download speed, connection time, network name, signal strength, WiFi status, SMS, and battery capacity. It has a big 3000 mAh Li-pol battery that can operate up to 8 hrs on its WiFi.

The Vodafone R227h is built with Balong 722M chipset, whereas BCM4356 WiFi chip is fitted inside to provide the connection up to 8 WiFi-enabled devices. It has 256MB storage and operates on 256 Mb of RAM. This router supports DL/UL speed up to 300/50 Mbps on its LTE, 42.2/5.76 Mbps on UMTS and 296/177 Kbps on EDGE frequency.

Its 3000mAH battery can provide 12 hrs internet on 4G connection. It can provide 600hrs standby on 3G/4G network. The modem supports dual-band WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2*2 2.4G/5G DBDC. It has 2.0 USB slot to connect to the computer.
