Bluboo has not officially released its flagship smartphone, X550, but it is listed for pre-order with a price of $188.08 through gearbest. Pre-sale will end on 19 May 2015.
The new Bluboo X550 runs the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is powered by an MTK6735 64bit chipset coupled with Quad-Core 1.3GHz (Cortex-A7) processor. It also uses the Mali-T760 GPU and 2GB RAM. The dual-SIM (4G LTE+GSM) smartphone comes with 16 GB of internal storage.
The X550 features a 5.5 inch IPS HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution. The connectivity options include 3G, GPS, 4G (FDD-LTE 800/1800/2100/2600MHz bands), WiFi, Bluetooth, and GSM. It houses an 8-megapixel rear camera with a flashlight, while there is a 2-megapixel front camera for selfies.
The Bluboo X550 is backed by a massive 5300mAh Li-ion battery. It measures 14.8 x 7.8 x 0.95 cm / 5.82 x 3.07 x 0.37 inches and weighs 198 gms.
