Blu is well-known for its quality products. Last month the company has announced a new smartphone, dubbed as Studio X. It will go for sell soon in UK, USA, France, Germany and another selected countries under US $150.
The Blu’s Studio X is a smaller variant of its Studio X Plus. It sports a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS display, comes in Black, White, Blue, Gold and Pink variant colours. The 3G smartphone supports dual SIM with dual standby functionality.
The Studio X is powered by a 1.3Ghz quad core processor and coupled with Arm Mali-400 GPU. It runs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS which is further upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. The handset is equipped with 1GB of RAM and also has 8GB expandable internal storage (up to 64GB microSD card).
The Blu Studio X houses an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear snapper with LED flash and also boasts a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfie and video calling. It is equipped with 2100 mAh Li-ion battery, that is rated for talk-time up to 25 h (2G) / 12 h (3G) and standby life up to 750 h (2G) / 700 h (3G) hrs.
In terms of connectivity options, the Blu Studio X include FM Radio, WiFi, Wi-Fi direct, Bluetooth V4.0, micro-USB v2.0, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 5.67 x 2.83 x 0.41 inches (144 x 72 x 10.5 mm) and weight 5.43 oz (154 gms).
