Blu is well-known for its quality products. Last month the company announced a new smartphone, dubbed Studio X. It will go for sale soon in the UK, USA, France, Germany, and other selected countries under the US $150.
The Blu’s Studio X is a smaller variant of its Studio X Plus. It sports a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS display, comes in Black, White, Blue, Gold, and Pink variant colors. The 3G smartphone supports dual SIM with dual standby functionality.
The Studio X is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and coupled with an Arm Mali-400 GPU. It runs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS, which is further upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. The handset is equipped with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of expandable internal storage (up to 64 GB of MicroSD cards).
The Blu Studio X houses an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear snapper with LED flash and boasts a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfie and video calling. It is equipped with a 2100 mAh Li-ion battery that is rated for talk-time up to 25 h (2G) / 12 h (3G) and standby life up to 750 h (2G) / 700 h (3G) hrs.
In terms of connectivity options, the Blu Studio X includes FM Radio, WiFi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth V4.0, micro-USB v2.0, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 5.67 x 2.83 x 0.41 inches (144 x 72 x 10.5 mm) and weight 5.43 oz (154 gms).
