Blu has unveiled a new smartphone, dubbed Studio Energy. It will go for sale through Amazon with a price of US $179.
The Blu Studio Energy comes in gray, white, and gold variant colors, feature 4G LTE connectivity. The dual SIM smartphone sports a 5-inch HD OGS IPS (720×1280 pixels) display with 294 PPI and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The Studio Energy is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and coupled with an Arm Mali-400 GPU that runs Android 4.4 KitKat, and further upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop OS in the future. It is equipped with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of internal storage that supports up to 64 GB of MicroSD cards.
The Blu Studio Energy houses an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear snapper with LED flash and boasts a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfie and video chatting. It is fueled by a massive 5000 mAh battery rated for 96 hours of normal usage and 45 days of standby.
The smartphone includes WiFi, Bluetooth V4.0, micro-USB v2.0, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack in terms of connectivity options. It measures 71.45 x 144.5 x 10.4 mm and weighs 180 gms.
