Blu has launched a new 2G smartphone, the Studio 5.5K. Till now, there is no word about pricing and availability details. Also, I could not find any online retailer who is selling BLU Studio 5.5K.
According to the official website of Blu, the Studio 5.5K will be available in Black, White, and Blue color variants. It is a dual-SIM smartphone but lacks 3G and 4G connectivity. It features a 5.5-inch IPS display with 480 x 854 pixels of resolution and 178 PPI.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Dual Core processor, coupled with ARM Mali 400 GPU and 512 MB of RAM. The Studio 5.5K runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box and has 4GB inbuilt storage that is further expandable with up to 64 GB of memory cards.
The BLU Studio 5.5K houses a 3.2 MP rear camera and boasts a VGA front-facing camera for selfies. A 1400 mAh Lithium battery backs it. The phone includes FM Radio, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V3.0, micro-USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack in terms of connectivity options. It measures 151 x 78.6 x 10.3 mm.
Recently, BLU Studio Mini LTE gone for sale in the US at 118$. It comes with 4G LTE, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, 5-megapixel rear camera, and 1850mAh Li-ion battery.
