BLU has launched a new smartphone, calls it Selfie. The unlocked handset is exclusively available in the USA with a price of $249 through Amazon.
The BLU Selfie features a 4.7-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels of resolution and is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core processor, coupled with MALI 450 GPU. This smartphone’s main highlight is its front-facing camera, which is 13 MP that also supports 1080p HD recording. It also houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with 1080p HD recording. Both cameras use Sony IMX135 sensors. Each camera comes with BLU Bright + Technology (BSI) and LED flash, while the main camera has dual flash to maximize the lighting in every picture.
The Blu Selfie is equipped with 16 GB of internal storage that supports an external MicroSD card (up to 64 GB). It also has 2GB of RAM and runs the Android 4.4 KitKat OS out of the box. It also comes with a Wolfson WM8918 audio chip that provides premium sound quality.
The Blu Selfie smartphone supports a quad GSM band and features 4G LTE (850/1900MHz Bands) that is compatible with AT&T, Cricket, and other carriers of the U.S. It is also compatible with T-Mobile and MetroPCS, where 4G 1900 bands are present in that market.
The Selfie phone comes in blue, black and white gold variant colors. It measures 5.74 x 2.61 x 38 inches, and its weight is 4.8 ounces.
