Blu‘s other smartphone, Dash 5.5, is listed officially; however, there is no price tag, and its availability has been mentioned. Blu Studio 5.0 LTE is now available for $201.24 through Amazon.
The new Blu Dash 5.5 is a dual SIM handset; however, Studio 5.0 LTE offers a single SIM. Dash 5.5 is running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. It can be used with 4G 850/1700/1900 or 850/1900/2100 operating frequency bands, and download speed in HSPA+ is 21 Mbps.
Blu Dash 5.5 boasts a 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor with ARM Mali 400 GPU and 512 MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of RAM, which can be upgraded with up to 32 GB memory card. It sports a 5.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels / 178ppi) display.
The Dash 5.5 offers a 5 MP ((2581×1936 pixels)) rear camera with LED flash, while there is a 0.3 MP VGA frontal camera is available for video calling. Bluetooth 4.0, WIFI, Hotspot, MicroUSB v2.0 is included as connectivity.
The handset will be available in Blue, Pink, Orange, White, Black, and Yellow variant colors.
