BlackBerry trying its level best to save its existence in the market. BlackBerry, which was holding around 40% share of the market in 2010, now latest their holdings are only 1% which is still reducing, we can’t expect where it stops.

Now, according to a Reuters report, the firm is considering a new phone launch that will be equipped with Google’s (which one not confirmed) Android software for the first time likely to be released this autumn.

As per the report, BlackBerry is planning to launch a slider phone, which would be the company’s first Android smartphone. The cell phone includes a keyboard for customers like Blackberry’s physical keyboard and a big touch screen.

It is believed that the decision is a part of BlackBerry Chief Executive John Chen’s strategy to rely more on his firm’s new device management system, BES12.

BES12 is a system that “allows corporate and government clients to not only manage BlackBerry devices on their internal networks but also devices powered by Android, Apple’s iOS platform and Microsoft Corp’s Windows operating system,” according to Reuters.
