But, while compressing, it only supports few formats like Zip, ZipX, TAR, TGZ, LZH, ISO, 7Z and EXE. This free file compression utility is also capable of creating self-extracting files and allows to create password protected files.
Bandizip can also extract RAR5 files introduced in WinRAR 5.0, which can be seen as the main highlight of this freeware, as this feature is not yet available in 7-Zip.
