Earlier launched in the Philippines, the ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite is now available online in India for Rs 8999 through Flipkart, the eCommerce online website.
The ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite features a 5-inch qHD IPS display powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor, alongside 1GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat with ZenUI on top. The internal storage of 8GB capacity is further expandable using an external micro SD card (up to 64 GB).
With the purchase of ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite, the company is also offering 5GB free lifetime ASUS Web Storage. It houses an 8MP autofocus primary snapper with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash, while there is a 0.3 MP secondary camera is available for video calls. The connectivity options include SIM slots, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, USB v2.0, and A-GPS.
A 2,500mAh non-removable battery fuels the device. ASUS offers ZenFone 5 Lite in Charcoal Black, Pearl White, and Cherry Red. However, the online retailer is offering the phone only in Charcoal Black.
