Asus has announced MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) at IFA 2014, the successor of MeMO Pad 7 (ME176C). It will be available in Burgundy Red, Champagne Gold, and Gentle Black colors, starting at €199.
The new Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) sports a 7-inch (1920 x 1200) Full HD IPS multi-touch screen display with 323 PPI and wide 178-degree viewing angles, plus ASUS TruVivid and ASUS Splendid technology for enhanced clarity, brightness, and accurate color reproduction.
Asus MeMO Pad 7 is powered by a 1.86GHz 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom Z3560 processor with the PowerVR G6430 GPU. It runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS with ZenUI on top. It is just 8.3mm thin and weighs only 269 gm.
Asus MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) houses a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting and selfie. It has Asus SonicMaster audio technology and dual Stereo Speakers for enhanced audio output.
As well as a Wi-Fi-only version, the ME572 Series is also available in a 4G LTE version (ME572CL), powered by an Intel MXM 7160 LTE modem that provides fast connectivity for high-speed web browsing, streaming video, and music.
Along with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity options, the tablet also packs a 15Wh Li-polymer Battery. It comes with 2GB of RAM and has 16 GB and 32 GB storage variants.
Asus has also announced today, in partnership with ProSieben and Intel, the ProSieben Entertainment Pad, an 8-inch tablet available exclusively to customers in Germany. The ProSieben Entertainment Pad comes complete with a high-value package of exclusive services, discount vouchers, and a range of attractive special offers.
