France-based Archos has unveiled a new smartphone, dubbed Archos 40d Titanium. It will go to sell in the USA, Germany, France and other selected countries.
The Archos 40d Titanium is powered by a Spreadtrum SC7731G / Quad-Core @1.2 GHz Cortex A7 processor and coupled with 512 MB of RAM. It features a 4-inch TFT FWVGA touchscreen display with 800×480 pixels of resolution. The built-in 4GB storage is further expandable via up to 64 GB MicroSD card.
The 40d Titanium smartphone houses a 5-megapixel rear camera and boasts a 2 MegaPixel front-facing snapper for selfies/video calling. The phone includes FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, Mobile hotspot, GPS/A-GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack in terms of connectivity options. It also has Dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM / mini) with dual standby functionality.
