We have reviewed AOMEI Backupper before, and it is easy and cool backup software. The last review of the AOMEI Backupper is based on the 3.0 version. One year passed, the newest version of the AOMEI Backupper is 3.5, of course, with many changes.

Since the 3.2 version, AOMEI Backupper supports multiple languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. You can choose the language at the first installing step. Change language setting in AOMEI Backupper’s settings option is also OK.

Since the 3.1 version, AOMEI Backupper supports the latest Windows 10. If you want to upgrade to Windows 10 and migrate OS to SSD, please try AOMEI Backupper’s system clone feature. If you are using Standard Edition, you should unlock this feature first. Don’t worry, and it is free to use.

We forgot a thing in previous reviews. AOMEI Backupper has six editions. Two free: AOMEI Backupper Standard, AOMEI Backupper Standard for Win 7 (this edition does not support Windows XP and Vista). Four paid: AOMEI Backupper Professional, AOMEI Backupper Server, AOMEI Backupper Technician, and AOMEI Backupper Technician Plus. Among them, AOMEI Backupper Standard is used by most people. Most users buy AOMEI Backupper Professional for PC backup.

AOMEI Backupper integrates many useful utilities: check image, explore image, create bootable media, AOMEI PXE Boot tool, import/export configuration, view logs. Paid editions have more utilities, such as merging images.

Aomei Backupper - utilitiesWhat’s new in AOMEI Backupper 3.5?

A highlight in 3.5 is that added event-triggered scheduling backups – automatically perform backup tasks in real-time; it has four styles: user logon, user logoff, system startup, and system shutdown. It’s worth saying that all editions of AOMEI Backupper can enjoy this feature, while in some similar backup software, this feature is paid to use.

Event Triggers

3.5 added something new, optimized, and fixed some problems:

 Support to run one time only when setting up the event-triggered scheduling backups.
 Support to perform scheduled backup tasks whether Windows account is logged on or not.
 Support to choose a network mapped drive as the destination.
 Support to simultaneously choose multiple files on the network drive as the backup source.
 Support to prevent computers from going to sleep during the backup process.
 Support to automatically invoke the tray notification icon to show backup or sync progress if users close the main window and then continue to perform backup or sync tasks in the background.

Conclusion

Backup is important; backup software is necessary. AOMEI Backupper, a full-scale Windows backup software, will help you a lot. Download backup software and protect your system!
