Well known Taiwanese displays maker AOC International will introduce smartphone and tablet in India. The company will bring these devices next month under the AOC brand within Rs 4,000 to Rs 10,000 price range, Atul Jasra, business head for mobile phones and tablets, said to ET.
The slate sports a 7-inches WSVGA Capacitive touch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and powered by a 1.3Ghz Dual Core processor with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. It is running on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and equipped with a 4Gb internal storage, which is further expandable with up to 32 GB T-flash card.
The AOC D70V50G houses a 2MP rear camera with Smile Shot feature and also a VGA front-facing camera for video calling and selfie. Under the connectivity options, it include; 3G, dual micro-SIM slot, WiFi, Bluetooth, Miracast, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.
The D70V50G is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery, which is rated for up to 17 hours talk-time, internet use time up to 6 hrs on Wi-Fi, audio use time up to 16 hrs and video use time up to 3.5 hrs.
