Amazon – the eCommerce online website, has released a new tablet called Fire HD 6 Tablet. The tab is listed on its United Kingdom website with a price of £79 for pre-order. The device will release on October 2, 2014.

Amazon Fire HD 6 TabletThe Amazon Fire HD 6 Tablet is available in two storage variant models: 8GB ROM has been priced at £79, while the other 16GB variant model will be available for £99. 8GB storage is priced on the US website at the US $99 and 16 GB variants with the US $119. The handset is available in Black, White, Magenta, Citron, and Cobalt color options.

The Fire HD 6 sports a 6-inches IPS touchscreen display with 1280 x 800 pixels of resolution, anti-glare technology, and 252 PPI. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Quad-Core processor and 1GB of RAM. It comes with an unknown capacity battery rated for 8.5 hours mixed uses or 10 hours when reading.

The Amazon Fire HD 6 has been enhanced with Dolby audio Mono speaker and built-in microphone. It houses a 2-megapixel rear-facing HD camera, and also a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera is available for video calling. The handset measures 169 x 103 x 10.7 mm (6.7″ x 4.1″ x 0.42″) and weighs 290 gms.

In terms of connectivity options, the Fire HD 6 tablet includes; 3G, WiFi, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth with A2DP, Accelerometer sensor, and gyroscope sensor.
