Alcatel POP C2 (OT 4032D) features 4-inch FWVGA (480 x 800 pixels) TFT display with 262 K colour depth and available in India with a price Rs. 3,999 through e-commerce website eBay.
According to the online retailer, the POP C2 is powered by a MediaTek’s MT6572 chipset and 1.3GHz dual core processor. There is no word about GPU, but the handset runs now-dated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box. It supports dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality and has 512 MB RAM.
The Alcatel POP C2 comes with 4GB of internal storage and boasts an expansion slot (up to 32GB). It houses a 3-megapixel rear camera, but no word about front-facing camera for video calling. Fueled by a Capacity 1300mAh Li-ion battery, once charged, it can deliver up to 13.5 hrs (2G) / 9.5 hrs (3G) talk-time or up to 510 hrs (2G) / 400 hrs (3G) standby time.
Connectivity options include Alcatel POP C2 FM Radio with RDS, WiFi, WiFi-direct, WiFi Tethering, Bluetooth V4.0 with A2DP profile, micro-USB v2.0, Mobile hotspot, GPS with A-GPS, 3G and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 122 x 64 x 11.95 mm and weight is 116 gms. It supports Ambient Light, proximity and G-sensor.
Alcatel has earlier unveiled Onetouch FireC 4020D in India. This handset comes with 1.3MP rear-facing camera, dual-SIM, 3.5-inch display, 128 MB RAM and 1000mAH battery.
