Similar to Alcatel Link Zone MW40CJ, the firm has launched MW40VD mobile WiFi router in some of the countries. MW40VD is a new 4G portable router that supports LTE (TDD & FDD) networks. This MiFi router features Cat.4 LTE and can connect up to 15 wireless devices. Its peak download speed is up to 150Mbps and upload speed limit is 50Mbps.

Alcatel Link Zone MW40VD comes with a removable 1800mAh Li-ion battery that can provide the internet for 4-5 hours. It is built of Qualcomm MDM9207 chipset. FDD/TDD/DC-HSPA+/HSPA+/HSPA/UMTS/EDGE/GPRS/GSM bands are supported by this device.

It supports single band WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz) and boasts a Micro-SIM card slot. There is a WPS button and also a microSD card slot (up to 32GB) is available. It has a LED display that shows the WiFi, messages, network strength and battery status.

It has two internal antennas. It features WEP/WPA/WPA2 encryption. It can be configured through WebUI on Windows 7(32 & 64 bit)/8/8.1/10 and Mac OS X 10.6-10.10 (32/64 bit) operating systems. It measures 87.6 x 59.6 x 12.6 mm and weight is 78 gms.

There is no reset button is available in this modem. However, this operation can be performed by pressing WPS+Power button simultaneously. Its current market price is around 250USD.
