Acer has launched a slate, Iconia A1-830, with a price of Rs 11,299, and the handset will be exclusively available via the eCommerce online website Flipkart.
The latest Acer Iconia A1-830 (NT.L3WSM.001) comes with a powerful 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor. Along with G-Sensor, the tab runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.
The Iconia A1-830 has 1 GB LPDDR2 RAM and built-in 16 GB internal storage; ROM is further expansible with a MicroSD card (up to 32 GB). It features a 7.9 inch LCD Capacitive Touchscreen display with 1024 x 768 pixels resolution. The further display has LED-Backlit, IPS Display, Wide Viewing Angle Upto 178 Degrees, and 5-point Input features.
Acer Iconia A1-830 houses a 5 Mega Pixel rear camera with auto-flash and a 2MP frontal fixed focus camera for video calling and selfies. It has a 4000 mAh battery under the hood, rated for 7.5 hours (HD Video) playtime. This is a 3G handset and comes with a WiFi facility.
GPS, Glonass, Micro USB 2.0, 3.5 mm Headphone Jack, and Bluetooth 3.0 are additional connectivity options. Measuring 138.4 x 203 x 8.15 mm dimension, the tab weighs 375 gm.
