HTC just announced that the new AT&T’s version of the selfie-centric HTC Desire Eye would also receive the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update starting tomorrow.
HTC’s Mo Versi VP of product management at HTC USA has announced that the Lollipop update 5.0.2 for AT&T’s Desire Eye will start rolling out tomorrow, June 30.
Desire Eye owners need to download a 1GB heavy Lollipop update, so a Wi-Fi network is best used. The Lollipop update will bring the Sense 6.55 onboard and not the new Sense 7 UI. The Material Design makeover and the new notifications settings will still be packed in this massive update, though.
HTC is slowly rolling out the Android 5.1 Lollipop update to their other devices. It can already be seen on the HTC One M9 and the HTC One M8.
