4G Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet launched, price starts at USD 229.99

Amazon is offering a new tablet, the Fire HD 10. The handset is listed on the company’s own website in the U.S.A. with a price tag of US $229.99 for a 16 GB storage variant, while for 32 GB, you have to invest US $259.99. It can be purchased in Black and White color variants.

The Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet features a 10-inch HD (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS touchscreen that offers a 149 PPI pixel density. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8135 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM and PowerVR G6200 GPU. Further, 16 GB / 32 GB’s built-in storage is expandable with up to 128 GB via MicroSD card.

The Amazon Fire HD 10 is running on Fire OS 5, houses a 5 megapixel (1080p) primary rear camera, and comes with a front-facing camera supporting 720p HD recording. The tablet is 7.7 mm thick, and in weight, it is 432 grams. The connectivity options include a 3.5 mm audio jack, stereo speaker with Dolby Audio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth with A2DP, and USB 2.0. Amazon claims to have a battery life of up to 8 hours with mixed usage.
